After a successful career as a CPA, Ram’s excessive high energy delved into the craft of putting stories on film. An avid freediving spearfisherman, 2nd degree black belt and nature lover, Ram has rock/mountain climbed, bungee jumped, and journeyed solo cross country on his vintage Harley. This energy is injected in the movies he makes.
“When out West, you can probably find me on a hiking trail in Sedona or rock climbing in Joshua Tree. Last June I took my wife on a motorcycle adventure from LA to San Francisco, stopping in cool places like Pismo Beach, Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, and our favorite… Montery. In 2012 I went on a solo motorcycle trip from Miami to Far West Texas, backpacked The Big Bend, and rock climbed Emory Peak. When I got back home I jokingly told my family that was my “Eat, Pray, Love” journey, for it took a toll on me physically as well as spiritually. Although I’ve practiced Karate on and off (mostly off) for over 30 years, it wasn’t until I hit the big 50 that I decided to finally earn my black belt. I’d very much like to prolong this aging thing as long as possible, so I figure punching and kicking and yelling at imaginary opponents may help just a bit.
Spent over 25 years as a CPA heading up various Internal Audit Departments for Fortune 100 companies. When my last company restructured I took a leap of faith and ended up building a small award winning production company. Fun times!
Over the years I’ve devoured 50+ screenwriting and filmmaking books, attended numerous related seminars, conferences, and classes from New York to Austin to Los Angeles. My most impactful education however was financing and making my first feature film which sported a cast of 80, was filmed in over 30 locations (including a dogfight scene over the “South China Sea”), and was over 10 years in the making.
I truly hope you enjoy the trailers on this site. A lot of these films will be available in places like Amazon in the near future, so sign up for our newsletter and I’ll let you know exactly when that happens!”
